Community Outreach Manager/Canada

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and driven professional to establish strong relationships with community members and act as VA’s program ambassador.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with community partners to promote VA’s programs through government funding initiatives
  • Responding to inquiries and following-up with referral sources and families they serve
  • Participating in special events and networking opportunities
  • Developing relationships with key community members and stakeholders
  • Maintaining on-going communication with government funding representatives

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a community outreach position preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Education in social services, communications or a related discipline is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and tracking software
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally and occasionally out of province
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
